The Busy, Overwhelmed Mom Support Group

We Are Coming
SOON
Who We Are
You're getting up everyday and getting things done, but it feels lonely, and exhausting at times.
Everyone around you seems to have support...neighbors, grandparents, babysitters, etc. (any maybe you have that too), but motherhood is harder than you remember when you were growing up.

In many ways it is harder because we have social media parading motherhood in this aesthetic, Pinterest-worthy vibe.
You see moms making homemade snacks and crafts meanwhile you're collecting apps on the McDonald's App like a VIP because you don't know how you'll have time to make dinner, do homework, go to practice and do bath time with your sanity in check.
Their homes are well organized and their pantries full of healthy snacks, while yours is full of candy and processed foods.
You see moms lovingly talking to their children and being patient, while you have to scream 100 times for the kids to get their shoes on so that you can get to work on time.

You see moms making time for nail appointments and hobbies while you feel guilty because there's a pile of laundry with your name on it, and you know that your kid's favorite shirt (that he has to wear on Thursdays) is in there.

I am on this journey right along with you, and know that we are meant to do this motherhood thing by ourselves. This is what led me to build the Overwhelmed Mom Reset Group

The Overwhelmed Mom Reset is a warm, practical, therapist-led group that helps you understand your overwhelm, regulate your nervous system in real life, and begin creating calmer rhythms at home and within yourself.

You are the mom who is more than capable, but feels stretched to the limit on the inside.
Maybe you:
-
Keep pushing even when you are exhausted
-
Feel snappy, emotionally flooded, or numb by the end of the day
-
Struggle to stay patient with your kids even though you love them deeply
-
Feel ashamed that home and motherhood seem harder than work
-
Have a hard time slowing down, resting, or asking for help
-
Are tired of the clutter, the rushing, the mental load, and the constant feeling that you are behind
-
Know you need support, but don't need ongoing, weekly therapy or a full private intensive
This group is for the mother who wants real support in a small, thoughtful container.
Not fluff.
Not judgment.
Not one more thing to fail at.
Just practical, meaningful help.
WHAT THIS GROUP IS
A therapeutic support group for moms who need a reset

The Overwhelmed Mom Reset is a 6-week therapist-led small group for mothers who are carrying too much for too long.

Together in a supportive group environment, we will look at the emotional, practical, and nervous-system roots of overwhelm, not just with coping skills, but through the way you actually live.
That means we will explore:

-
Why you feel overloaded (the non-obvious reasons)
-
How your particular and unique nervous system responds to stress
-
The role of clutter, visual chaos, and unfinished tasks
-
Guilt, perfectionism, and the pressure to hold everything together
-
Realistic homemaking and slow-living rhythms that support calm
-
How to create a more sustainable way of moving through motherhood
This is a small group designed for depth, reflection, and real-life application.

WHAT MAKES THIS MOM RESET GROUP DIFFERENT

This is not just another support group

Many motherhood support spaces offer encouragement, which can be helpful.
But this group is designed to go further.

What makes this different is that we look at overwhelm through multiple layers:
-
emotional
-
nervous system
-
environmental
-
behavioral
-
relational
-
lifestyle-based
We are not only talking about calming down.
We are also looking at:
-
the pace of your life
-
the pressure you carry
-
the visual and emotional weight of your home
-
the stories you tell yourself and the overt and covert resentments that contribute to those stories
-
and the daily rhythms that either support you or keep you stuck
This is thoughtful, grounded support for women who want real change.
WHY A SMALL GROUP

These groups are intentionally small

This group is capped at just 5–6 moms so it can stay warm, intimate, and supportive.
In a smaller group, there is more room for:
-
honest reflection
-
individualized attention
-
deeper connection
-
meaningful conversation
-
feeling seen without getting lost in the crowd
If you have been craving support but feel overwhelmed by big programs or impersonal online spaces, this is designed to feel different.

FAQ

Is this therapy?
No. This is a therapist-led psychoeducational support group that includes emotional support, practical tools, and guided reflection. It is not a substitute for individualized therapy.
Use the version that best fits your actual offer structure.

Do I need to be in crisis to join?

No. In fact, many women in this group are functioning well on the outside while quietly feeling stretched thin, emotionally overloaded, and exhausted.

Will I be forced to share personal details?

No. You are always invited, never pressured. This group is designed to feel supportive and safe, and you can participate in a way that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.

Is this only for moms with young children?

Not necessarily. This group is best for mothers who resonate with the experience of emotional overload, mental load, and the pressure of holding everything together. You can decide how narrow or broad you want the fit to be.

What if I miss a session?

Because this is a live small-group experience, attending in real time is encouraged whenever possible. If you anticipate frequent absences, this may not be the best fit for you right now. The sessions will be recorded and available for replay.

What happens after the 6 weeks end?

At the end of the group, you may leave with a personal reset plan and a clearer sense of what support would feel most helpful next. For some women, that may be enough. For others, it may make sense to explore deeper support through an EMDR intensive or another offering.
