Therapy Rates & EMDR Intensive Pricing | Planting Seeds Therapy NJ

Investment in Your Healing

If you are navigating perimenopause, trauma, burnout, or the overwhelming weight of midlife motherhood, the right support can change everything.

Here is what that support looks like, and what it costs.

What Becomes Possible

When clients commit to this work, here is what shifts over time:

• Anxiety attacks become manageable - or stop altogether

• Triggers that have followed you for years begin to lose their grip

• You regulate more quickly after difficult moments

• You stop white-knuckling your way through motherhood and perimenopause

• Boundaries stop feeling impossible  - you learn it is okay to say no

• Your self-talk changes. You become less your own worst critic

• You begin to trust your own instincts and ask for what you need

• You stop wondering what is wrong with you, and start seeing your strengths

• Something that held power over you for years no longer hurts the same way

• You realize that you are not alone or "weird". You realize that it is ok to think your thoughts and feel your feelings.

Planting Seeds Therapy is a private-pay practice.

Below you will find my current rates for individual therapy, EMDR Intensives, and group support.

While many clients stay with me for a long time (12-15 months) for weekly sessions, my goal isn’t to work with you forever, but to encourage you to build confidence and learn the tools and strategies to get you on your way.

I want you to know that when you commit to therapy, I’ll commit to you and to helping you achieve your goals.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?

No. Planting Seeds Therapy is a private-pay (out-of-pocket) practice. I do not bill insurance directly.

There are several reasons for this - chief among them is that insurance-based therapy requires a psychiatric diagnosis to justify treatment, limits session frequency and format, and gives insurance companies authority over clinical decisions. Private pay keeps your care between you and your therapist.

Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?

Possibly. I can provide a monthly superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt with the diagnostic and billing codes your insurance needs. You can submit this superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse 50–80% of out-of-network therapy costs.

To find out what you might get back, call the member services number on your insurance card and ask: "What is my out-of-network mental health benefit, and what is my deductible?"

What forms of payment do you accept?

Credit card, HSA/FSA cards, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due 24 hours in advance of the session. For Intensive sessions, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your slot. Deposits are due 72 hours in advance of the session.

Do you offer sliding scale?

I maintain a small number of sliding-scale spots for clients facing genuine financial hardship. Please reach out directly to discuss - I will always be honest about what is currently available.

Cancellation Policy

I ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) and no-shows are charged the full session fee.

I understand that life with kids and perimenopause is unpredictable. I apply this policy with common sense and compassion -  it exists to protect everyone's time, including yours.

Ready to Get Started?

The first step is a free 15-minute consultation call. There is no pressure and no commitment — just a conversation to see whether we are a good fit.
