Services for Perimenopausal Women

There are a few different ways to get support, depending on what you need right now, and how much time and space you have to give it.

You don't need to know the exact right service before reaching out. Most women who contact me aren't sure whether they need weekly therapy, a longer session, an intensive, or something else entirely.

Figuring that out together is part of what a free consultation is for.

Below is an honest look at each way we can work together, so you can pick a starting point with confidence.

Find Your Starting Point

  • New to therapy, or want ongoing weekly support → Therapy

  • You already have insight into your patterns but need more than 50 minutes to use it → Extended Sessions

  • You're ready to do concentrated, focused work on one specific issue, without waiting months → EMDR Intensives

  • You want to understand the full range of trauma-informed approaches before committing to a format → Trauma Therapy

  • You want community and a lower-commitment starting point → The Overwhelmed Mom Reset Group

Standard Therapy (Weekly)

For women who want ongoing, steady support to work through rage, anxiety, and old trauma that perimenopause has made louder. Sessions run weekly or biweekly, in-person in Bordentown or online anywhere in New Jersey.

Extended Sessions (Weekly or Bi-Weekly)

For women who already have insight into their patterns but need more than a 50-minute hour to actually use it. Sessions run 90 minutes to two hours — primarily talk-based, with EMDR available if it fits.

EMDR Intensives

For women ready to do concentrated, focused work on a specific issue without waiting months for it. Half-day (4–6 hour) and full-day (8–10 hour) formats compress what might take months of weekly sessions into one focused block.

Trauma Therapy

A broader look at the range of trauma-informed approaches I use — EMDR, mindfulness, and sandplay — for women who want to understand their options before committing to a specific format.

The Overwhelmed Mom Reset (Support Group) — Fall Group Coming Soon

A 6-week, therapist-led small group (5–6 moms max) for women who know they need more support than they're getting on their own, but aren't ready for weekly therapy or a private intensive. $300 for the full 6 weeks.

Still Not Sure?

That's normal, and it's exactly what a free 15-minute consultation is for. Part of my job on that call is helping you figure out which format actually fits your life right now — not just booking whatever page you happened to click on.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I know which service is right for me?

You don't have to figure that out alone. A free 15-minute consultation is designed to talk through what you're navigating, your schedule and capacity, and what kind of support would actually help right now. I'll recommend which format I think fits.

Can I switch between formats later?

Yes. Many clients move between formats over time - beginning with weekly extended sessions sessions and stepping down to a standard weekly or bi-weekly cadence as things stabilize. We may incorporate an Intensive around a specific issue.

Do you accept insurance?

Planting Seeds Therapy is a private-pay practice. None of these services are billed directly to insurance. A superbill is available for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What areas do you serve?

I offer in-person sessions in Bordentown, NJ, serving Burlington and Mercer County (Hamilton, Robbinsville, Princeton), and online telehealth to anyone residing in New Jersey.

What training and credentials do you have?

I am an EMDRIA Certified therapist, which requires a minimum of 50 hours of EMDR training, 20 hours of supervised EMDR practice, and ongoing consultation. I am a Level 3 Sandplay Certified Therapist, and I completed a 200 hour RYA Yoga training. I have completed extensive trainings in Internal Family Systems, Trauma Therapy, and Polyvagal work.

I hold a Master's in Education and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

I have been in practice since 2002 and have specialized in EMDR, trauma and nervous system regulation work since 2013.

Investment

Pricing varies by service - weekly EMDR therapy, extended sessions, and EMDR Intensives are premium, private-pay offerings with rates shared during your free consultation.

The Overwhelmed Mom Reset Group is $300 for the full 6-week series.
